Vintage Motorcycle Engine Rebuild/ Restoration Service.
Over the years I have restored many bikes for both myself and friends in the vintage motorcycle community. I have decided to offer my expertise in building engines for classic japanese motorcycles both 4 and 2 stroke. I have provided photos in the listing of my previous work.
My rebuild service includes a complete disassembly of the motor all the way to the point of splitting the cases and removing the transmission. I will clean and inspect all internals and replace what is out of spec or shows wear. I use NOS OEM parts whenever possible.
Before Reassembly of the motor crankcases will be degreased, and then vapor blasted to perfection (satin silver finish). I sandblast all parts to be painted down to bare metal always and then repaint with 3 stage urethane automotive paint for the side covers. Cylinder will get a special ceramic heat resistant paint. I polish all aluminum parts on the buffing wheel to a mirror finish- often sanding out imperfections before polishing by hand! Bottom line- your motor will look better than new.
