Here is some information to save you time and money:
Changing the programming file in your Smarty WILL NOT unlock it. and the correct model / year file has to be loaded to unlock your tool.
If you have a multi-make tool, it MUST have been locked to a "Dodge / Cummins".
If you have uploaded a different file to your tool, please put original model / year file back in before shipping to us. We can load the file but there is an additional charge for us to do this
If you have tried this, we ask that you load the original file back into your smarty before you send it to us.
If you have a triple brand tuner (meaning it will tune Dodge, Ford or GM) your tuner must be locked to a Dodge / Cummins for us to unlock it.
After it is unlocked you can use it on a Ford or GM but we won't be able to unlock it (so far), we are working on unlocking all three makes.
Did your Chip tuner tool "Brick" your PCM ? And now your truck does not run !
