Serial Number may vary. Lowest price for the quality!
    2 YOUNG MEN
    representing the aspirations of
    a GREAT EMPIRE
    - on a
    simply beautiful classic banknote
    !
This one of of Europe's most beautiful WW1 era banknotes.  It was issued by the Austro-Hungarian Empire in 1915, just after the start of WW1, at its glittering capital, Vienna.  Alas, the Empire would crumble 3 years later with the defeat of its ally Germany. But this banknote survives in all its splendor!
And what a beauty it is! Engraved in multiple colors on the finest vellum-like paper, this 10 Kronen or Korona (Crown) bill was worth about American at the time. Given that a U.S. of the era in this condition can command 0's (even 00's depending on its rarity) our price of .99 for this beautiful crispy note is a downright steal.
The note is bi-lingual, one side in German and one in Hungarian! The front has a "Deutsch Oesterreich"
(German Austria) overprint. Due to the fine yet strong quality paper, the folds barely break the surface of the paper, if at all.
