    Description

    The Botswana 20 Pula is part of the family of banknotes issued in 2006 with improved security attributes. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and is TAP authenticated. A portrait of Botswana National Anthem composer Kgalemang Tumedisco Motsete is shown on the banknotes obverse. An ostrich as well as the countrys Coat of Arms with zebras and a shield is also visible on the front. The reverse side depicts mining conveyors. The 144 x 72 mm paper bill has a windowed security thread with a demetallized BOB 20. It also has a watermark which consists of a rearing zebra with an electrotype 20.
